Kristof Avramsson is Engineering & Design Librarian at Carleton University, and subject specialist for Civil and Environmental Engineering, Architecture, and Industrial Design. He was previously a Medical Librarian in Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases at the Laboratory Centre for Disease Control, and began his career at British Columbia Ministry of Environment in Victoria. Kristof completed his MIS at Western University and his PhD at the University of Ottawa where he received the Governor General’s Gold Medal for outstanding doctoral thesis. His research interests include cultural theory, narrative voice, and multimodal literacies.
