Katie is the Information Services Specialist at the Mount Saint Vincent University Library. In this role, she is co-coordinator of the Research Help & Instruction team, is the liaison of the International Student Center and the library’s Jill-of-all-trades.
Katie has always fascinated by the intersection of science and culture. She is a member of the MathWeave research group, which examines making, particularly textiles, as a way to conceptualize and teach mathematics.
She holds a BA in the History of Science & Technology and Mathematics from the University of King’s College and an MLIS from Dalhousie University.
